InfoSpace Earnings show profits, barely
Beating analyst expectations that forecasted a 6 cents-per-share loss, online and mobile media company InfoSpace squeaked out a profit of 3 cents per share for the second quarter, which ultimately saw profits plummet 94 percent from last year's second quarter. On the plus side, the company's mobile revenues rose 23 percent, and CEO Jim Voelker on the analyst call pointed to increased development of mobile games-in particular a licensing deal with publisher Activision.
