Ingenio, JumpTap partner on mobile search
Mobile pay-per-call advertising services provider Ingenio announced a partnership with white label mobile search and marketing solutions developer JumpTap. Per terms of the deal, Ingenio advertisements will appear in response to subscriber search queries on devices that leverage JumpTap's carrier-branded search services. Advertisers pay only when consumers initiate calls in response to the search results.
"For mobile data services to take off, the utility and value to the consumer has to be significant," Ingenio chief marketing officer Marc Barach said in a prepared statement. "Pay per call makes it simple for businesses like restaurants, taxi services and hotels to participate in mobile search in order to meet consumer demand, while creating tangible revenue opportunities for mobile operators."
