Intel Capital, Yoshimoto gotta have Faith

Intel Capital, the strategic investment arm of the international computing goliath and Japanese entertainment conglomerate Yoshimoto Kogyo announced investments in Japanese mobile content provider Faith. Intel Capital will assume a 2.6 percent stake in Faith valued at roughly $5.6 million, with Yoshimoto claiming a 1.5 percent stake worth $3.2 million. The three firms already collaborate via joint venture Bellrock Media in multimedia content creation using Intel's Viiv standard; in addition, Faith announced it will acquire a 12.4 percent stake in Yoshimoto Group service provider Fandango, while Yoshimoto agreed to buy 4.6 percent of Faith Group-owned mobile content provider Giga Networks.
