Intercasting befriends Community Connect

Mobile media applications developer Intercasting announced an agreement with Community Connect to offer the niche social networking firm's websites to mobile subscribers. Intercasting's mobile social networking platform, Anthem, will provide BlackPlanet.com, MiGente.com, GLEE.com, Faithbase.com and AsianAve.com users with a user interface enabling them to view photos, send and receive messages, post comments and search profiles via mobile phone. "All of our carrier partners have asked us to provision key vertical communities that are in high demand by mobile consumers, so we are happy to serve Community Connect and its mobile strategy with our Anthem platform," said Intercasting founder and CEO Shawn Conahan in a prepared statement.
