Jamdat co-founders resurface with Gogii

Tools

Jamdat Mobile co-founders Scott Lahman, Austin Murray and Zack Norman have again banded together to launch a new mobile marketing venture dubbed Gogii. According to peHUB, Venice, Calif.-based Gogii remains in stealth mode, but has already secured $5.175 million in Series A funding led by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, with KP partner Matt Murphy taking a board seat. Founded in 2000, mobile gaming publisher Jamdat was acquired by Electronic Arts in late 2005 for $690 million. Lahman, Murray and Norman all took jobs with EA post-merger, but left the company within 12 months.
