John Faith talks Myspace iPhone App

Social networking giant MySpace will launch its much-anticipated MySpace Music venture later this month, with the company also planning a mobile incarnation of the service, said MySpace Mobile GM and VP John Faith during an appearance at Tuesday's Mobile Entertainment Live! event. MySpace's mobile ambitions also include deeper integration with its web platform as well as geo-spatial networking, although the latter still poses a series of security and privacy issues, Faith said. He added that more than a million consumers have downloaded MySpace's iPhone application since the launch of Apple's App Store this July.
