Jumptap launches Passport to Freedom ad program

Tools

Mobile advertising solutions provider Jumptap launched Passport to Freedom, a new program promising application developers and publishers an alternative source of revenue separate from Apple and Google. Optimized for smartphone platforms including Apple's iPhone, Google's Android and Research In Motion's BlackBerry, the Jumptap Passport to Freedom Program establishes a $4 million fund for new customers--according to Jumptap, its new partners will retain 100 percent of revenues through the remainder of 2010, or until the fund is depleted. In the event an advertiser chooses to reinvest their earnings, Jumptap will double the amount available for advertising dollars.

"We launched this program in response to the many developers and publishers who are at risk of losing revenue as a result of being 'caught in the crossfire' between Google and Apple's battle over platform control," said Jumptap CMO Paran Johar in a prepared statement. The company also touts reduced development time and costs associated with its one network/one point of integration approach, its multi-platform footprint and monetization tools including search, display, rich media, video and in-app promotions.
