Tools

Keynote Competitive Research, the industry analysis division of on-demand test & measurement solutions firm Keynote Systems, announced the opening results of its weekly mobile web performance index, which measures and ranks the response time, download speed and success rate of mobile websites. For the week ending Nov. 11, Google led in response time at 6.54 seconds, MSN led in success rate at 98.45 percent and AOL came out on top in download speed at 2033 bytes per second. According to Keynote, the results show that companies are still perfecting their mobile offerings' performance--for example, while leading in response time, Google placed in the bottom three on the download speed rankings.
