Tools

Soulja Boy Tell ‘em's "Kiss Me Thru the Phone" is the top-selling master ringtone of 2009 according to sales data compiled by Nielsen RingScan and reported by Billboard. Jamie Foxx's "Blame It" follows in second, with T.I.'s "Dead and Gone," Kanye West's "Heartless" and Black Eyed Peas' "Boom Boom Pow" rounding out the top five. Official sales totals were not disclosed.

Billboard also reported that Lil Wayne's "Lollipop" reigns as the best-selling ringtone of the decade. The rest of the top five, in descending order: T-Pain's "Buy You a Drank," Soulja Boy Tell ‘em's "Crank That," Flo Rida's "Low," and Mims' "This Is Why I'm Hot."

So where's Grand Funk Railroad? You mean you kids don't know Grand Funk? The wild, shirtless lyrics of Mark Farner? The bong-rattling bass of Mel Schacher? The competent drumwork of Don Brewer? Oh, man.
