KongZhong assists NBA on Chinese mobile site

Mobile value-added services provider announced a multi-year agreement with the National Basketball Association to launch the NBA Chinese mobile website, the first-ever official NBA mobile site. KongZhong will operate the site, which will broadcast selected live NBA games in their entirety and provide video highlights, news, scores, game and player updates, interviews, blogs, TV schedules, wallpapers, ringtones and related hoops content. Per terms of the deal, KongZhong may also develop and market NBA-related wireless products. "This first-ever official NBA site on mobile phones will give fans in China access to the NBA anywhere, anytime," said Chinese-born Houston Rockets center Yao Ming at a press conference announcing the deal.
