Linux systems platform and open-source mobile tech firm a la Mobile, which in mid-January beat its rivals to the punch by announcing the first applications suite based on Google's nascent Android operating system, raised $6.75 million in Series B financing, according to a regulatory filing. Return investor Venrock led the round.
