Leap Wireless maps out partnership with Google

Speaking of Google, the search engine giant is teaming with small-market service provider Leap Wireless to offer Leap subscribers a suite of Google-branded products and services including search, e-mail and location-based content. Per terms of the deal, Leap's Cricket wireless data network will offer access to Google's complete index of web and mobile web pages, local business listings and weather updates, e-mail (specifically, Google's own Gmail service) and interactive maps, real-time traffic updates and contact information integrated with satellite images.
