Led Zeppelin makes mobile debut via Verizon
If there's a bustle in your handset, don't be alarmed now: Rock and roll legends Led Zeppelin announced their first-ever mobile content partnership with Verizon Wireless, launching exclusive ringtones, ringbacks, alerts and wallpapers as well as full-track over-the-air downloads on Nov. 13. Led Zep's mobile debut coincides with the Atlantic Records/Rhino Entertainment release of the two-disc career retrospective Mothership alongside the remastered and expanded reissue of the concert film The Song Remains the Same--on November 26, surviving members Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones will reunite for a one-off gig in honor of late Atlantic founder Ahmet Ertegun.
