LimeLife acquires Tapatap
Cross-platform digital media firm LimeLife announced its acquisition of mobile and web social community provider Tapatap. Financial terms were not disclosed. According to LimeLife, Tapatap's integrated technology platform will improve its delivery of community and virtual economy functionality to its core female audience across both mobile phones and PCs; Tapatap's community services enabled members to create profiles, connect with friends, participate in user-generated and brand-sponsored contests and purchase subscriptions to the company's virtual economy. LimeLife delivers lifestyle content to women ages 18 to 34. In February 2009, the company welcomed more than a million visitors across its cross-platform web properties.
