M-Wise teams with LatCel for Club Lo2Yo content effort
Mobile content services and technology vendor m-Wise will team with Latino mobile media provider LatCel to launch Club Lo2Yo, distributing content and applications targeting the Hispanic subscriber market across the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Club Lo2Yo, marketed under the LatCel brand, will leverage the firm's mobile operator partners to distribute a host of digital content types via carrier portals--in addition to music, videos, photos and games, the initiative will also spotlight Android apps. Club Lo2Yo will offer both a monthly subscription model and pay-per-download options.
A joint venture bringing together Latin American mobile transaction network WAU Movil and entertainment company Venevision International, LatCel provides content management and services to wireless carriers, brands and media companies. M-Wise supplies content management and delivery platform, service delivery platform and related value-added data engines for mobile operators, wireless solutions providers and media brands.
