CBSSports.com announced the launch of a NCAA March Madness on Demand application for the iPhone and iPod touch, promising live streaming video and audio from the upcoming 2009 Men's Basketball Championship tournament. Developed by CBS Sports Mobile in partnership with mobile video solutions provider MobiTV, the March Madness app employs MobiTV's streaming technology to deliver live broadcast content via WiFi connection; beginning Thursday, March 19 and continuing all the way through the Men's Final Four, CBSSports.com will provide live video from all 63 tournament games, additionally offering access to tournament brackets updated in real-time. iPhone and iPod touch users may even click directly from brackets into live video.

The CBSSports.com app will also feature exclusive game previews, including team breakdowns and matchup comparisons. Following each game, basketball fans can view a full tournament scoreboard, including game recaps, player and team stats and video highlights of all games. The NCAA March Madness on Demand application is available now from Apple's App Store for $4.99.
