mBlox teams with Valista on mobile billing

Digital commerce solutions and managed services provider Valista announced mobile transaction network mBlox will deploy its ValistaPlus Payments platform to support WAP billing. The ValistaPlus solution promises user-friendly and secure experiences via mBlox's PayforIt accredited mobile payments platform, bolstering both one-off payments and subscription services with a direct-to-bill charging service. The mBlox platform also offers cross-carrier adult verification, which checks a subscriber's age to block inappropriate content. "Operators are becoming more stringent regarding the delivery and billing of mobile content and services, requiring greater transparency and robust transaction processing," said Valista CTO Fran Heeran in a prepared statement. -Jason
