mdog adds eBay, MySpace to mobile portal
Mobile blogging platform developer mdog.com announced the additions of eBay, MySpace, craigslist, Wikipedia and Citysearch to its catalog of mobile-accessible websites. The carrier- and device-agnostic portal enables subscribers to browse, read, post and (in the case of eBay) bid via mobile device while visiting popular user-generated sites. "Being first to comprehensively mobilize these popular sites is a testament to the unique strength of our technology," mdog founder and president Keith Gerard said in a prepared statement. "Our technology optimizes the dynamic real-time content and robust functionality of these sites, and displays it all in the most technically-effective and aesthetic manner possible. In addition, accessing craigslist or eBay at mdog.com gives mobile users an important, time-sensitive advantage of viewing classifieds and auctions without being chained to a PC."
