Medio, mInfo partner for Chinese mobile search
Mobile search service providers Medio Systems and mInfo jointly announced a long-term strategic partnership to develop a flexible mobile search, advertising and content delivery platform for the Chinese market. Shanghai-based mInfo already targets the 520 million-strong Chinese mobile subscriber population via natural-language search deals with operators including China Mobile, China Unicom, China Netcom and China Telecom--according to Medio and mInfo, their combined solution promises information or content results within seconds, in addition enabling operators to generate revenue via targeted advertising that leverages consumer behavioral data.
