Metatron premieres Bob Marley 'appMovie'

Internet holding company Metatron announced the debut of Bob Marley: Spiritual Journey, the firm's first "appMovie." According to Metatron, the appMovie application format combines high definition video, audio and images in one media packet, engineered to automatically scale to maximum playback quality across multiple platforms--for now, Bob Marley: Spiritual Journey is available for Apple's iPhone and iPod touch, but Metatron adds that it plans to release appMovies optimized for Android, BlackBerry and high-definition television.

Bob Marley: Spiritual Journey includes a one-hour HD documentary, 14 songs in HD audio, a half-hour audio interview and hundreds of images spanning the late reggae icon's career. Songs include "Trenchtown Rock," "Lively Up Yourself" and "Natural Mystic."
