mFoundry teams with Verizon on m-banking

Mobile applications provider mFoundry announced it is collaborating with Verizon Wireless on a banking and financial services solution. According to mFoundry, its Spotlight Financial Platform turnkey solution is designed to serve both banks and mobile operators, accommodating most any type of financial services content including support for banking, brokerage, credit, stored-value, coupons and payment solutions. The out-of-the-box Spotlight solution can be branded, customized and maintained by financial institutions, and is optimized for virtually every mobile device currently on the market. In addition, mFoundry has integrated its mBanking product into Spotlight, enabling consumers to check account balances, search transactions, transfer funds, pay bills and find ATMs and branches via mobile.
