Microsoft launches Bing search app for Windows Mobile

Tools

Microsoft announced a series of enhancements to its Bing search engine, including a new mobile application optimized for Windows Mobile-powered devices. Tailored for quick, on-the-go searches on wireless handsets, Bing for mobile boasts voice-enabled search queries, navigation tools including maps, driving directions and traffic updates, local information like restaurants and movie showtimes, and top web results to further accelerate the question-and-answer process. "We like to think of it as your personal and local search engine," writes Microsoft senior vice president of online services Satya Nadella on the Bing Community blog.
