Microsoft launches Bing search for touchscreen devices

Microsoft announced a new version of its Bing search engine optimized for high-resolution, touchscreen-based devices. Currently available across Apple's iPhone, HTC's G1 and Imagio, Samsung's Omnia and Microsoft's own Zune HD, the service also boasts a new Movies feature enabling users to search for movies playing nearby, complete with showtimes, overviews, trailers and video clips. Microsoft also updated its Bing for mobile browser service, adding National Football League game information, statistics and scores, including real-time updates during live matchups as well as airline flight status updates.
