mig33 counts on BlackBerry platform
Mobile social network mig33 announced the release of a new software application optimized for Research In Motion's BlackBerry platform. BlackBerry 7200, 8100, 8300, 8700 and 8800 series users may now share content while chatting in forums or chat rooms created within their own personal communities. mig33 called the software launch its "first step in a program designed to optimize the service for the U.S. market," and said in the months ahead it will announce the availability of other offerings designed specifically for U.S. consumers. According to mig33, its social network now boasts more than 10 million users in 200 countries, spanning services including VoIP, instant messaging, email, text messaging, picture sharing and community features.
