mig33 unveils U.S. mobile community service
Mobile Internet social networking provider mig33 launched in the U.S market via a new WAP service that can be accessed by any mobile phone user regardless of the device or carrier. In addition to services including photo sharing, profile sharing, chat and integrated IM, the new mig33 service includes free mobile e-mail capabilities--subscribers may either set up their own personal mig33 mobile e-mail account or integrate the service with their existing account. mig33 also debuted its first WAP destination, a website-based application promising access to any user with a Web-enabled phone, as well as PC-based access. The mig33 service is already up and running in Europe and Asia, reporting more than 7 million phone users in 200 countries sending more than 27 million messages each day.
