Mobile ad firms partner for unified rich media platform
Mobile advertising solutions providers Jumptap, Crisp Wireless and Medialets announced plans to partner on a new unified rich media ad platform promising an array of interactive ad units optimized for mobile applications and the mobile web. The firms say the partnership affords advertisers a single access point to launch campaigns spanning across multiple devices, technology platforms, browsers and publishers--formats include banners, video and web interstitials, configurable click-through actions, tap-to-video, tap-to-audio, scrolling shakable, take-over-branding and location-aware, with units designed to retain the consumer experience within the app or on the mobile site.
According to Jumptap, the rich media platform will initially target the mobile web and iPhone, with support for Android and Apple's iPad tablet slated to follow soon.
