Mobile ad provider GoldSpot Media raises $12M in Series B
Mobile rich media and video advertising solutions provider GoldSpot Media has closed a Series B venture financing round totaling $12.05 million, led by Exa Ventures and Berg Enterprises. GoldSpot's miSpot platform promises publishers and advertisers a self-serve, web-based solution to create, manage, distribute and track mobile web and in-app ad campaigns across all smartphone and tablet platforms, including iOS, Android and BlackBerry. Consumer brands including Toyota, Hewlett-Packard, Audi, Toshiba, KIA Motors and Brother have leveraged miSpot to run mobile campaigns.
GoldSpot said the new funding round will support its efforts to grow its customer base, expand its sales and marketing initiatives, and drive its ongoing rich media development.
