Mobile Content Venture unveils Dyle mobile TV brand
Mobile Content Venture, the nationwide mobile DTV effort launched in 2010 by a dozen broadcasters including NBC, Fox and Cox Media Group, will operate its forthcoming live service under the Dyle consumer brand. MCV said it will leverage the Dyle name and logo to certify devices capable of receiving and decrypting live mobile broadcast TV signals.
In April, MCV announced plans to roll out services to 32 U.S. markets by the end of 2011, including Miami, Cleveland, Denver and Las Vegas. In addition, it will team with Spanish-language programming giant Telemundo in cities like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Houston. Release
