Mobile Messenger inks distribution deal with EMI

Mobile content management and distribution services provider Mobile Messenger announced an agreement with EMI Music to distribute mobile media from the label's digital catalog. Per terms of the deal, Mobile Messenger will offer ringtones sold both a la carte and via subscription spotlighting EMI acts ranging from Frank Sinatra to Miles Davis to Al Green, as well as contemporary hitmakers like Coldplay, Norah Jones and Katy Perry. Mobile Messenger currently operates in the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, United Kingdom and South Africa, with plans to expand over the next year.
