MobileMail acquiring Froggie, Norris Marketing

Content and messaging solutions provider MobileMail announced its pending acquisition of mobile messaging and marketing solutions provider Froggie and its Norris Marketing Limited subsidiary. Terms of the cash and stock deal were not disclosed. Froggie owner Tom Horsey will join the board upon completion of the deal. Froggie brings with it solutions for the mobile marketing and interactive marketing sectors, combining SMS, WAP and IVR systems to create a one-stop shop for content providers and mass media across southern Europe and Latin America. MobileMail said it is seeking to further expand its business via additional strategic consolidation, and is currently pursuing a number of companies in the United States and Europe.
