MobileMail seals Tracebit acquisition

Premium mobile communications solutions developer MobileMail announced completion of its acquisition of Finland-based mobile game publisher Tracebit, a move MobileMail says will facilitate its move into the content market. Per terms of the agreement, MobileMail has acquired all of Tracebit's issued share capital in exchange for MobileMail common stock, which will represent 20 percent of its issued share capital on completion of the deal.

MobileMail says it plans to pursue additional acquisitions and partnerships in coming months as it diversifies its product suite to focus on mobile entertainment and user-generated content. "The acquisition of Tracebit is a signal of our intent to become a leading and innovative provider of mobile entertainment solutions," MobileMail CEO Gary Flint said in a prepared statement. "MobileMail will achieve its mission through the creation of an interactive on-line & mobile portal providing the one stop shop for leading edge branded mobile entertainment content and messaging solutions."
