MobiTV adds CBS to channel lineup

Digital broadcast service provider MobiTV announced the addition of CBS to its mobile channel lineup, promising viewers full-length episodes of primetime series like CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Numb3rs alongside daytime perennials like The Young and the Restless. Full episodes will be available to MobiTV subscribers on AT&T and Sprint the day after broadcast; in addition, MobiTV will feature video-on-demand news, sports and comedy clips courtesy of the Tiffany Network's CBS Mobile division.

MobiTV now offers subscribers more than 40 channels of content from partners including ABC, NBC, ESPN and Discovery Networks. In early December, MobiTV's managed mobile television and radio network passed the 5 million subscriber benchmark, roughly four months after reaching the 4 million subscriber total. MobiTV is now available on more than 350 handsets across 20 operators.
