MobiTV tops 7 million subscribers

Less than four months after its managed mobile television and radio network surpassed the 6 million subscriber mark, MobiTV announced it now boasts more than 7 million subscribers. MobiTV--now available on more than 350 handsets across 20 carrier networks--attributes the latest growth spurt to interest in more interactive mobile broadcast content, highlighted by its "tournament pass" iPhone application introduced in conjunction with CBS Sports on the occasion of the NCAA basketball March Madness tournament.
