Mobixell closes $6 million financing round

Mobile multimedia and advertising solutions provider Mobixell Networks announced the completion of a $6 million financing round led by existing investors Apax, Intel Capital and smac partners. According to Mobixell, the venture infusion will enable the firm to address emerging opportunities in the messaging, video and advertising markets as well as enhance customer support and professional services. Mobixell delivers multimedia processing and adaptation as well as multi-channel advertising to over 250 mobile operators and content providers worldwide.
