Mogreet connects mobile video marketing platform to Facebook

Video-based mobile marketing platform provider Mogreet introduced Post-to-Facebook, a new social media component offering consumers a one-click mechanism to share content from Mogreet advertisers to their Facebook social network newsfeed. Mogreet offers carrier-agnostic mobile video delivery services spanning messaging protocols including MMS, SMS and WAP--marketers can optimize video content dependent on mobile device, integrate call-to-action options like contests and coupons, and target consumers according to their area codes. Post-to-Facebook leverages word-of-mouth marketing, relying on consumers to share with social media contacts their interest in Mogreet advertiser products and services. Mogreet notes it is able to track the number of postings to Facebook, as well as the number of views.

More than half of all Americans over the age of 12 are now on social networking platform Facebook, according to a recent report conducted by Arbitron and Edison Research. As of January 2011, 51 percent of Americans maintain Facebook profiles, up from just 8 percent only three years ago. In addition, Facebook's active monthly mobile web userbase now tops the 250 million milestone.
