Monstermob buys Chinese MoCo company

Tools

Mobile games and ringtones developer Monstermob has inked a deal to acquire China's W-Infinity Communications for $81.5 million in new Monstermob shares and loan notes. The acquisition announcement follows the company's quarterly financial reports last week, which showed revenues were up 103 percent to £35.6 million, but warned that revenues would be lower this year because of new regulatory controls on subscription services in the U.K. The company's push into China began in January with the acquisition of China's M Dream for £20 million.
