MoPhap, Vantrix team for mobile video advertising

Mobile advertising firm MoPhap and mobile video solutions provider Vantrix together announced the launch of a dynamic mobile video advertising platform leveraging the MoPhap SparkMobile ad serving and campaign management tool and the Vantrix Ad Booster ad insertion and optimization platform. The companies promise mobile content providers the ability to insert targeted ads in real time within streaming and downloadable video content via formats including pre-, mid- and post-rolls, watermarks and logos. The ads will be based on behavioral and psychographic information compiled by MoPhap and complemented with device, operator and network characteristics collected by Vantrix. "Earlier this year, we partnered with Vantrix to deliver optimized display ads on mobile phones," said MoPhap founder and CEO Bob Walczak in a prepared statement. "The natural next step for us is mobile video advertising. Using MoPhap's proprietary server-side cookie technology, MoPhap can target ads more effectively for its mobile video advertisers both contextually and behaviorally. With Vantrix, we can now stitch ads to video content in real time."
