Movida rakes in $40 million
Hispanic-targeted MVNO Movida Communications announced a $40 million financing round led by new and existing investors including hedge fund Plainfield Asset Management and media chain The Cisneros Group. Movida, which recently topped the 250,000 subscriber benchmark, said it will earmark the funds for additional working capital and to sustain its recent growth--through its network partnership with Sprint, the MVNO offers pay-as-you-go voice and data services featuring culturally- and geographically-focused Spanish-language content.

Man I just bought $20 today at about 5:15pm. Used phone about 15 min before 9 when it's supposedly is free, and they told me me I had $0 dollars on my account! Movida I think you're ripping me off. have reciept and every thing to confirm my purchase! I would really appreciate a refund or my money back on my account.

yes movida has been ripping me off for quit a long time now my last day shopping with them was when before i knew it i had refilled my account with three cards of 20 dollars in one day. I constantly spoke with the operator about the situation and it seem like i was getting no where around it. Let me also mention how it says that there are free nights and weekends but does it tell you that you have a limited time for it. NOT SO FREE IS IT. If anyone see's this comment please send me an email so we could see is there anykind of way we could get our money back.
