Mozes secures $5M in funding
Mobile marketing service developer Mozes announced it secured $5 million in first-round funding from Norwest Venture Partners and North Bridge Venture Partners. The Mozes service, currently in beta, promises everyone from consumers to corporations the ability to create their own interactive mobile marketing campaigns--the company is initially targeting the music industry, working alongside bands and fans to develop mobile communities and live-event activities for recording artists.
"Not only is Mozes advancing the landscape for consumers to receive and find information via text messaging and mobile content delivery, but they incorporate community elements where advertisers can reach targeted, lead-generating demographics," North Bridge Venture Partners general partner Paul Santinelli said in a prepared statement. "Mozes' straightforward business model links advertisers with users through keywords, ensuring content are delivered only to those who've expressed an interest."
