Tools

Open-source software developer Mozilla announced its Firefox for mobile browser is now available for Nokia's Maemo platform. According to Mozilla, Nokia N900 device users can download the Firefox browser now, promising features including the Awesome Bar (which simplifies searching by minimizing the number of keystrokes), Weave Sync (which synchronizes Firefox tabs, history, bookmarks and passwords between the desktop and mobile environments), location-aware browsing, tabbed browsing and add-ons like AdBlock Plus, URL Fixer, TwitterBar, language translators, and geo guides. Mozilla adds that Firefox for mobile is available in more than 30 languages.
