MSN Mobile licenses dotMobi's DeviceAtlas

dotMobi announced Microsoft's MSN Mobile group will use the mobile web consortium's DeviceAtlas handset database to help create and deliver mobile-aware content to consumers. MSN Mobile will rely on DeviceAtlas as its in-house mobile content development standard in an effort to more effectively tailor media according to the mobile capabilities of subscribers and their devices. The DeviceAtlas boasts technical specifications and related information on more than 5,500 mobile handsets, including Apple's iPhone and RIM's BlackBerry portfolio.
