MySpace seeking mobile friends in Europe
Social networking website MySpace confirmed rumors it is searching for European mobile service distribution and marketing partnerships similar to deals already in place with U.S. carriers Cingular and Helio. According to Jean-Paul Sanchez, MySpace's vice president of mobile, Europe, the company will not license its brand to European operators, but their customers would be able to offer MySpace functionality and promote the service in communications.
