Myxer adds free content support for iPhone

Ad-supported mobile content provider Myxer announced its support for Apple's iPhone platform, making available its catalog of free MP3 clips, ringtones, videos, wallpapers and games. iPhone users must go to the Myxer online catalog, select a ringtone and download it to their desktop--from there, they must drag the ringtone into their iTunes ringtone folder prior to mobile download. According to Myxer, the service now boasts 9 million users across multiple mobile operators and 18 million mobile downloads per month, with a content catalog in excess of 375,000 unique items.
