Myxer launches GeoPix wallpaper app for Android

Mobile entertainment destination Myxer announced the launch of GeoPix, a free Android application that changes a user's wallpaper images in relation to their present location. According to Myxer, GeoPix monitors a smartphone's whereabouts via Android's built-in geolocation and background services; users can select a wallpaper image relating to their destination, and the app automatically updates the photo upon arrival. Myxer adds that GeoPix also enables users to save locations and select images from their phone or the firm's wallpapers catalog.
