Namco averaging 36,000 App Store downloads per day

Mobile game developer and publisher Namco Networks announced its catalog of iPhone and iPod touch titles now generates an average of 36,450 App Store downloads each day. According to Namco, downloads of its iPhone titles now top 23 million in total. Namco has so far released 24 games through the App Store, highlighted by classic franchises like Pac-Man, Dig Dug and Galaga as well as new properties including Garters & Ghouls, Isaac Newton's Gravity and Solitaire: Deck of Cods. The firm plans to issue 20 new titles across 2010.
