Namco launches multi-player mobile 'Pac-Man'

Mobile games publisher Namco Bandai Networks Europe announced it will launch a multi-player title based on the venerable arcade franchise Pac-Man. According to Namco, mobile gamers will be able to challenge three of their friends to simultaneously compete in a remastered version of the game--Bluetooth-enabled handsets will allow players to take turns assuming the role of Pac-Man or one of the ghosts chasing him. When playing as Pac-Man, mobile gamers must also tackle a ‘fog of war,' limiting their vision as they maneuver through the maze. Players may additionally compare their abilities with others via Pac-Man's online high-score ranking system. According to Namco, the multiplayer Pac-Man is available now from all major U.K. operators.
