Namco's 'Final Fantasy' tops Verizon Wireless game sales
Namco Networks America's Final Fantasy is the bestselling mobile game across the Verizon Wireless (NYSE:VZ) network during the first six months of 2010, the operator reports. EA Mobile's The Sims 3 World Adventures and Jewel Quest III follow in second and third, respectively--Namco's More Brain Exercise is fourth, with Capcom Interactive's Where's Waldo? In Hollywood rounding out the top five.
While Verizon Wireless did not disclose official download numbers, it said that rankings are determined by sales on both smartphones and feature phones. Verizon presently offers subscribers more than 350 mobile games.
