Napster teams with Motorola for music marketing
Napster announced a marketing agreement with vendor giant Motorola to deliver the digital music provider's on-demand music subscription service across Motorola's complete line of subscription-enabled devices. Napster and Motorola will team on promotional efforts for the North American, UK and German markets, making available via in-box and aftermarket promotions a free month of the Napster to Go subscription service; additional promotional opportunities will be announced in the months ahead.
"Mobile music enthusiasts will enjoy the most popular music subscription service to complement Motorola's sleek design and functionality that delivers the ultimate mobile music experience," said Motorola's senior director of mobile devices multimedia entertainment Chris White in a prepared statement. "Our relationship with Napster further advances Motorola's global music strategy and presents an incredible opportunity to expand the company's strong music ecosystem."
