NBC serves 2.4 million mobile video streams in Q1

Broadcast television network NBC said its mobile website served 2.4 million video streams in the first quarter of 2009, more than the total number of streams served in all of 2008. In all, the NBC.com mobile site experienced 24 million page views in Q1, a 64 percent quarter-over-quarter increase. NBC adds that its NBC Rewind streaming video player has now delivered more than a billion full-episode streams to web users since launching in October 2006.
