NBC's 'Today' whips up cooking app for iPhone

NBC's long-running morning show Today announced the debut of Today Recipes, a new iPhone application featuring cooking tips from celebrity chefs and food experts. Developed in conjunction with Zumobi, the free Today Recipes--a spinoff of the program's new Today Cooking School multi-platform effort--enables users to select a dish they wish to prepare and create a shopping list with the necessary ingredients. In addition, the app includes video features and articles, with new content added on an hourly basis.
